This property is situated in a central park, in a vast nature reserve with lakes and waterways between Amsterdam and Utrecht. Amsterdam, with its rich culture and history, is only 30 km away. Utrecht, which was in the Middle Ages the most important and the richest city of the lowlands, is just 10 kilometers away. Nearby are also the patrician mansions along the Vecht, the castle of Belle van Zuilen and Muiderslot castle where the life of Floris V tragically came to an end. The castle was featured in many television and radio shows in Hilversum. Like the busy evening markets at the Oud Loosdrechtsedijk, with live music and the annual fair on the Nootweg in Nieuw Loosdrecht. The fairy tail-like gondola parade, every year on the 3rd Saturday in August, is really a fascinating spectacle on water. At the end of June there is a trip for small boats (“Rondje Loosdrecht”) complete with live music and snacks / drinks along the route.

The second bedroom has two single beds and the third bedroom has a bunk bed. There is a sleeping sofa for 2 persons in the living room. The watervilla is well insulated, comfortably cool in summer and warm in cold winters. The Watervilla is equipped floor heating, double glazing, wooden floor, floor heating and of course a phone-, fax- and internet connection.
